How installation works
Inspection and measurement.
The specialist checks the opening, walls and floor, confirms the dimensions and tells you which extension boards and architraves you'll need.Preparing the opening.
If necessary, we remove the old door and level and reinforce the reveals.Fitting the frame and door.
We assemble the frame and set it level, hang the door and keep even gaps all round.Hardware.
We fit handles, locks, hinges and, if ordered, magnetic latches or door stops.Finishing the opening.
We install extension boards and architraves to cover the mounting joint and any unevenness in the wall.Final check.
We make sure the door opens easily, closes tightly and doesn't rub against the frame.
Doors and openings we install
Hinged and sliding doors, double doors, flush paint-grade concealed doors and partitions. Walls can be brick, concrete, aerated block, plasterboard or timber — fixings and fitting method are chosen for each case.
What affects the price
type and weight of the door, opening system;
wall material and condition;
whether an old door has to be removed or the opening widened or levelled;
the number of extension boards, architraves and hardware items to fit.

How to book installation

Before the fitter arrives
clear access to the openings and space for assembly;
finish any wet work — plastering, screed, tiling: doors go onto dry walls;
leave the doors in their packaging until the fitter arrives so the finish isn't damaged;
if the doors were delivered from the cold, let them rest indoors for a day.
